Probably Cairo workshop production, circa 1925-30
A well-composed set of three Egyptian Revival carved stone canopic jars, each surmounted by stylised heads referencing the traditional Sons of Horus, comprising Imsety is portrayed as a human, Duamutef as a jackal, and Qebehsenuef as a falcon.
Carved in fine-grained Egyptian limestone, the bodies are decorated with vertical bands of hieroglyphic-style motifs in shallow relief. Each jar is hollowed and fitted with a removable lid.
Height: approximately 14 cm each
