A handsome neoclassical table lamp carved in solid alabaster, the form modelled as a fluted column with Ionic capital and stepped plinth base. Recently rewired with braided flex and a new brass BC lampholder.
The alabaster retains an attractive natural translucency and veining throughout.
Minor historic nicks and non-structural imperfections around the column base, entirely stable and consistent with use; the lamp remains structurally sound and presents beautifully when lit.
